"Briarrose Stables"  is a private, family owned stable set on 40 acres of lush farm land bordering on the Indian River and a Natural Forest Preserve. Boarding and/or trail rides are not available to the general public.

There is stabling and lean-to's for all of our horses (box stalls) with paddocks and pastures that allow the horses to have as much freedom for grazing and relaxing as possible.

The indoor arena is 100' by 50' with excellent footing and lighting. There is also a large outdoor arena, round pen and playground with obstacles for the horses.

Miles of quiet wooded trails and un-paved country roads makes trail ridering a dream!

Our approach to training and performance is based on the Parelli Natural Horsemanship Program which promotes the "thinking horse". We provide a positive and playful atmosphere for both the rider and their horse as they learn together, and we continually challenge ourselves with never ending improvement.

We believe in building a solid foundation in basic horsemanship. This is vital to the good development of any sport involving horses. An emphasis on the rider/horse relationship is a major part of our program and a key component in building that foundation.

We recognize that each horse is an individual and must be treated as such. A large portion of our time is devoted to learning how to understand and communicate with our horses, so that we can develop a strong partnership and provide a safe and supportive environment for learning.
